BuhayLugar : Bakasyunan sa Alponso Kabite



Oo ito na nga yung lugar na kung saan namin ipinagdiriwang ang aming pagbibigayan ng salamat III... 

Talagang seryoso ito sa pagiging Bakasyunan na lugar ah, may cell reception naman ito ang layo mula sa bayan at napakatahimik at matiwasay ang paligid ngunit tumatanglaw ang mga ilaw sa paligid bagamat tama lang ang dami nito at napakasarap kumuha ng mga litrato sa iba't ibang bahagi ng LifePlace. 

Kaya pa man kwento ko na, diba malayo ito sa Alfonso Cavite pa eh kung taga doon karin naman eh ang lapit lang pala hahaha πŸ˜‚ pero yun na nga malayo man pero napakasarap bumiyahe.  . . 

Nang makapasok kami at may isang paunten na kagad kami nakita, isang nakakatuwang disenyo na nagsasabi ng Pagibig pero at habang nalalakad papunta sa parang gasebo laking saya ko nang makarating kami kahit man nahuli may hapunan parin na hinain para sa amin. . . Awee. . . 

Bulanglang man toh o pakbet pero masarap at magistuhan ko lalo na yung kalabasa at sitaw, meron din tayong Adobo at yung nagbigay gana talaga sakin kumain ay ang nilagang baboy nila, ang dami kong kanin na kinain dahil dito sabaw pa nga lang nangingibabaw na ang sarap ng pagkalaga at ang karne ay napakalambot sa pagkain niyo at mga iba pang rekado tulad ng petchay, patatas at paminta! Malamang pero yung kamote talaga yun hahahaha πŸ˜‚ napaka-ay talaga lang

Naglibot libot kami nung gami at nahirapn nga lang ako kumuha ng mga litrato dahil nga gabi pero halika samahan mo ako hahaha πŸ˜‚ 

Ito nga pala yung para gasebo na place, dahil nga katulad ng sinabi ko kanina na malawak yung mismong lugar pati rin yun mga bahagi nito tila ilan beses ko magagamit yung tumatanglaw, maliwanag, maparikit at kung ano paman pumasok sa isipan ko kaya paman hahahaha πŸ˜‚ halika. . . 

Dito Kami nagmula kanina. . . 

So ito na nga yung mga kabana, para mamaya matitulog nalang kami pero iniwan na muna namin gamit sa kabana kaso bakit pa ba namin dadalhin, alin nga ba rito yun? 

Ito ata yun. . . Di ko sure basta may pinasukan ako bali pala kami kamo hahaha πŸ˜‚ 

May halong pagnangatitigilan at kaba kasi may pagkatakutin rin ako pero pagdating sa biruan ang lakas ng loob ko hahaha πŸ˜‚ 

Yung unang namin napansin mula sa kabana namin ay yung tumatanglaw na gusali, hindi ko aakalain na simbahan pala ito ngunit napakaganda ng pagkagawa para sakin. 

At mula rin sa kinakatayuan ko. 

Yung buong lugar (kahit hindi naman talaga. . .) napakaluwag at maaliwalas ang simbahan na ito, napakaganda para sa mga okasyon niyo tulad ng binyag at kasal. Hanggang doon lamg muna dahil kanina pa man. Hanggang doon lang muna, dahil kanina pa kami nasa labas at gusto ko na rin magpahinga bukas pakita ko sayo yung iba pang bahagi ng LifePlace. 

Sa kuwartong nasa pagitan ng kisame at bubungan kami natulog, napakaluwag naman ng puwesto namin at para bang naka erkon ka, pero may kumakaluskos, 'di ko na inalam kung ano payun dahil pagod talaga ako kaya natulog nalang ako. 

Kinabukasan, nagising ako mga bandang alas sais at di pa nagbubukang liwayway, napakalamig sobra at kaya naman pala, pati bubong kasi naghahamog na dahil sa lamig, may kumakaluskos ulit akong narinig at sinabayan ito ng mainam na tiririt, doon ko lang napansin na ibon lang pala yun kala ko. Kung ano na eh, pero binalak ko lumabas para tignan ang paligid kahit wala pang sinag. 

Mukhang nagbubukang liwayway narin pala pero ang dalim parin, kaya nag masidmasid at pinagmasdan ko muna kung ano nasa paligid ko, lalo na yung mga namumukadkad bulaklak na mapansin ko. 

Ilang beses ko na ito makikita at ilan beses ko rin naaalala yung maling pagtawag ko rito, bougainvillea talaga yun pero tawag ko noon bumbilya. Simula grade four hanggang grade five yun ang tawag ko diyan, mukhang timang lang diba pero tila para itong rosas may mga tinik ngunit napakaganda kaya't pa man pagtayo natuksong hawakan na walang pag-iingat tayo rin ang masasaktan... 

Natatandaan niyo nung tayo'y bata pa, kung minsan dinikdik natin ito, lalagyan ng unting tubig at kukuha ng tayo ng istro at siyempre alam natin yun... Mga araw ng kabataan natin. 

Pati man damo napagbiruan kong kunan ng litrato ngunit napakaganda ng ito lalo kung ikaw mismo ang titingin nito, mga simpleng bagay na masarap pagmasdan 

Kagabi di ko na na kunan ng litrato ito dahil sa pagod, maganda naman ito kahit umaga pero mas maganda kung may ilaw na nakabukas, may mga lampara kasi na nakasabit, at itong bilong na dahon ay nagsisilbing bastidor para sa mga litrato niyo. 

Dito namin ginanap yung UBP Pasasalamat Bigay, napakaluwag naman ng lagar. Bago pa man yung Pagdiriwang. 

Ayan lumiliwanag na.. . Kita naman na napakalawak niya diba? 

Ito yung kabuuan ng kanina kong sinasabi. 

Binalikan ko ito para ipakita sainyo ng hindi gani hehehehe πŸ˜‚ 

Ito naman sa labas sa maliit na pasukan. 

May paradahan naman para sa mga sasakyan niyo kung kinakailangan, at mukhang kakailanganin niyo rin talaga kung ayaw niyo mamasada.  Pero kung meron the mas madali pero makipag karpul naman kayo para rin sa kalikasan natin. 

May taniman din sila ng saging.

May nahanap ka? Kami oo pero ang taas eh hahaha πŸ˜‚ parang nagsarap tuloy kumain ng turon o saging kon yelo. 

Ito yung dining area nila, pero halos saan naman pwede ata pati rin naman maglinis tayo pagkatapos natin ah hindi lang dito pati rin sa mga pasyalan. 

Binalikan ko yung simbahan at tanging ang ganda ng pagkagawa talaga para sakin.

May umakyat ng puno ng buko kaya pa man nagtataka ako. 

Nang mapansin ko nagtatwag napala sila upang magsighanda na at magbihis. Para sa ganap mamaya kaya paman sa litrato na ito nakatayo ako sa may harao ng simbahan bago sa hagdanan at kung mapapansin niyo yung parang ikinakatayuan ni kuyang nakapula ay isang maling lugar para rin sa mga gimik niyong magkakasama, kasal man yan, biyang, o pampalubay na gawain bilang kampanya o tila parang gusto niyo lang talaga magpahinga mula sa siyudad na pamumuhay pwede rin kayo manatili sa

MERZCI is the trade name of CM & SONS FOOD PRODUCTS, INC. It is the leading bread and food

 pasalubong producer in Bacolod City and the island of Negros. It carries a wide array of product 

lines, namely, BAKESHOP, FAST FOOD, PASALUBONG, and PURIFIED WATER.

 

The company maintains optimum standards in its manufacturing processes and is constantly updating

In 2014, following its trademark application with the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPO)

, the trade name got updated from Merci to Merzci. With the update in the name, came the upgrades

 launching the brand in October 2014 as “The New and Improved MERZCI”. The addition of the letter 

Z in the name signifies that the company has been gearing up and focusing on targeting the 

GENERATION Z as the main market of its products and services. Customers can expect more from

As of Jan 2018, the company is manned by a 1, 600-strong workforce more or less, with each

COMPANY ROOTS


CM & Sons Food Products, Inc. was established as a family enterprise in 1995 in Bacolod City, 

Negros Occidental. Its products are marketed under the trade name “Merci” a French word meaning 

“thank you”. Though the trade name is undergoing a rebranding process from Merci to Merzci, the 

company still believes that it will remain competitive in the food market.


Merzci started as a small bakery, supplying breads to a single store at the Libertad Market. Eventually,

 its popularity became undeniable due to a growing satisfied customer pool. With its high quality 

breads at affordable prices, combined with aggressive marketing strategies and the ingenuity of youth,

 it did not take long for the company to establish its own branches around the city and supply products

 to satellite dealers all over the province.


Merzci also evolved into a fast food restaurant serving scrumptious and affordable snacks and 

short-order meals for people on the go.


Complementing its food line, it diversified its business interests in 2003 with the introduction of its 

bottled purified water brands distributed around Negros Island, namely MERCI PURIFIED DRINKING 

WATER and VITALIFE PURIFIED DRINKING WATER. Despite competition from national brands, the 

two brands successfully sliced a big share in the province’s purified water market in only a few 

months’ time and up to present. The water brand is also expected to follow suit in the rebranding of its

 trade name.


The success of CM & Sons Food Products, Inc. may very well be attributed to its ability to cope with 

the emergence of new markets and opportunities.


In January 2005, CM & Sons launched its newest line – MERZCI PASALUBONG TREATS, to cater to

 the growing tourist and balikbayan crowd that regularly come to the province. The pasalubong treats

 have gained a massive “suki” consumer crowd that prompted the company to open its first pasalubong

 center in Singcang, Bacolod City in September 2005. This branch is only about five minutes away 

from the old Bacolod Airport which, at that time, gained a wide acceptance among the locals and 

travelers alike. Seven months later, a second pasalubong center emerged in Mandalagan in April 2006,

 which now caters mainly to travelers leaving the city on the way to the north of the island. In 2008,

 when the New Bacolod-Silay Airport was opened to the public a new branch conveniently located at the

 Departure Area was opened for its customers who are always on the go. And, most recently last 

February of 2013, BREDCO Branch was established to cater to Iloilo-Panay travelers making it a point

 that, indeed, Merzci will always be a part of a traveler’s Bacolod experience.


For more than two decades, the company has produced quality products from breads to pastries to

 Visayan delicacies to short order meals and even purified water. Products are made available in the 

different branches and dealers in the Negros Island, Panay, even reaching as far as Tuguegarao City in 

the North, Zamboanga City, Manila, and Cebu. Some products are also exported by distributors to 

Canada, the USA, and other parts of the world.


Believing in the power of advertising and promotions, the company employs various media exposures 

such as television, radio, print, and even social media to reach its varied target markets. Special events

 such as concerts, tourism and sports events, and other special activities are also considered by the 

company as avenues to reach new markets.

In the awarding ceremony at the L’Fisher Hotel last September 17, 2011, MERZCI was recognized as 

one of the best performing businesses in Negros Occidental. The award was presented to Mr. Jonathan

 Lo, President and CEO of C.M. & Sons Food Products, Inc.

A Sea of Zs: Sino may Z? MERZCI!

A sea of “Zs” exploded at the 35th Masskara Festival at Bacolod’s Lacson Tourism Strip last October 

16-19, 2014.

 

Launching the New and Improved MERZCI, Bacolod’s favorite pasalubong center, bakeshop, and fast 

food brought four nights of hyperfun – live band music, games, prizes, and dances – to festival guests 

through nightly live shows.

 

A giant mirror ball, red and yellow confetti, and two sky dancers ushered in guests to the MERZCI stage.

 The unveiling of the Z in MERZCI was performed by the mysterious yellow MERZCI Man and assisted

 by CM and Sons Marketing Manager for PR & Events Femmy Lee Magbanua and Branding Officer 

Lovelle Bellocillo.

 

Hosts Gerhard Krystoppher Pagunsan and John Gilbert Arceo, ably assisted by MERZCI Marketing 

Manager Femmy Lee Magbanua and the MERZCI Dancers, led contestants in the iconic games Siopao

 Eating Contest and Barquillos Relay. More contestants won MERZCI treats in pasalubong boxes with 

games like Bring Me, Pinaka-, and the Longest Z. Members from the dancing audience who did the 

MERZCI SIGN with their hands won customized MERZCI t-shirts. Those who had the letter Z in their 

names went home with customized MERZCI golf umbrellas.

 

Festival guests grooved to live music from Batukada de Negros, Aire Band, and 11th hour Band as 

freebies were tossed to the audience. The last night of the show was graced by 2014 Masskara Queen 

1st Runner-up and Miss Merzci Riah Angelica De Ocampo. Right beside the MERZCI stage, the biggest

 Masskara Festival PHOTOWALL offered FREE photo-taking to locals and tourists.

 

Meanwhile, the mysterious yellow MERZCI Man cavorted along Lacson Street, gamely posed with locals

 and tourists and did a surprise appearance at the Masskara Love Dance.
